Many people will give up a seat to the old on the bus. She did it but she did it in a great way.

It was on a hot Sunday morning. Lily was sitting on a bus. A girl was sitting in front of her. She wore a red T-shirt and white trousers. At one stop, an old man got on and walked straightway to them. “ I will give my seat to him if he stands besides me,” Lily thought to herself. But he stood by the side of that girl in red, and she stood up and ed the old man to her seat. The old man thanked her. She iled and said, “ My pleasure.” Then nobody r notd them any more.

The bus went on oothly. Suddenly, the driver made a sharp turn to oid a cyclist and the girl in red fell down. To Lily’s great surprise, when she tried to her up, she saw a wooden stick which should he been her left leg. She was handicapped and needed a seat herself badly. But she ge her seat to the old man. She quickly covered her wooden leg and stood up.

“ Your leg! ” Lily murmured.

“ Oh, it’s OK. It’s been a part of my body. ” She iled as if nothing had happened.

“ Please take my seat. I’m going to be off at this stop. ” Lily said and reached out to let her sit down.

Lily got off and waited for the next bus at that stop. That was of course not her stop. But the waiting is nothing, compared with what that girl did.

My grandmother

如何根据图画的内容,运用正确的语言和规定的篇幅来写好这类文章呢?

5.应按照合理顺序,适当使用一些过渡性的连接词,将句子连珠成串;

一般说来记叙文有时间、地点、人物、、原因和结果六要素,写作时要明白清楚地给予表达。记人时,要注意介绍人物的身世、经历和事迹等。叙事时要描写事情发生与发展的过程。

应用文写作技巧

主要以写信为主。英文书信由6个部分组成。它们是信头、信内地址、称呼、正文、结束语、签字。格式一定要正确。信的正文和写文章一样,要分段写,每一段有一个中心思想。

书面表达题是全国和各省市历届高考英语试卷中测试的主要项目之一。那么它的测试目标、内容、设题及其它相关特点是什么呢?

高考英语测试的主目标是考生运用英语进行交际的能力;测试采用主、客观题相结合的形式。运用英语进行交际的能力包括汲取信息、处理信息和输出信息三方面的能力。书面表达题主要测试考生根据试题给出的信息进行处理,然后用英语传达给读者的能力和水平。高考英语大纲(2007年)对书面表达题语言测试的要求是:

1. 准确使用语法和词汇;

2. 使用一定的句型、词汇,清楚、连贯地表达自己的意思。

根据上述要求,高考英语试3. 议论文:议论文就是用来对人或事物的好坏、是非发表意见和看法。作者总是先提出一个论点,接着对这个论点进行正反分析,逻辑推理或列举事例加以论证,然后得出结论。它一般分为立论和驳论两种,在立论中,摆事实、讲道理,论证其观点的可行性、正确性;在驳论中,作者首先提出一个不正确的论点,然后用事实、道理对它逐点进行驳斥,来证明它是错误的、行不通的,再得出正确的结论。卷中该项测试对我们考生作答的评价标准是:是否遗目规定的内容要点;表达的意思和形式是否准确、清楚、连贯。近年来,评价该题水平时提倡用"高级"的词汇,"较复杂"的语法形式。

基于以上要求和情况,所以全国和各省市高考英语试卷中书面表达在题材方面选用的是我们考生熟悉的内容;在体裁方面也趋于多样化。近年来,有部分命题中有夹叙夹议的表达要求,但仍以记叙为主。

记叙文类书面表达的命题特点

1.一般采用漫画插图或者给出材料的形式,让学生描述或者记叙事情、人物。

2.部分试题要求学生能够简短地发表自己的看法,给予简短的评论。

3.属于主观题,该题解答时带有很大的自由度,可以充分发挥自己的想象,畅谈自己的看法。

大多数高考英语试卷中书面表达题所采用体裁是夹叙夹议、以叙为主的文体形式,可以有以下几种方法来展开叙述。

1.按照的时间顺序展开描述。

2.按照空间顺序展开。

3.也可以用倒叙、反问的手法吸引读者的注意力。

4.发表看法时要有针对性,切实表达所记叙的主题或反映出来的问题。

循序渐进提高写作能力

1. 练习用英语句子表达简单思想的能力。

2.练习用成段英语表达较复杂思想的能力。

3.练习用成篇英语表达较完整思想的能力。

建议不要在练习书面表达的开始阶段,在我们还不能正确运用英语句子表达思想的时候,就急于练习用成段成篇英语表达完整的思想。组织高考英语阅卷后的分析显示:该题绝大部分的错误都集中在句子层面上。这一现象说明了平时训练中的这一问题。

应该先练习用英语口头表达思想的能力,后训练用英语书面表达思想的能力。之所以这样做,是因为两者目标和效果在实质上基本相同,但前者在形式上相对简单,耗时少,有利于保证训练量;后者在形式上相对严谨,耗时多,但有利于在一定基础上的提高。

3. 代词的意义:代词指代人、事或物,但是在具体的语境中,究竟指代什么呢?考生不可掉以轻心,而应该根据上下文来弄清楚它的意义。如果把句子 She ge me an interesting book yesterday, which is written by E.E. Cummings 中的 which 理解为指 yesterday理解为指或前面整个句子的内容,显然就不正确。

4. 动词的时态、语态和语气:英语阅读中必须特别注意文章中的时态、语态和语气,因为,它们的形式分别代表着特别的意义。如 I didn’t know English 就说明“我”过去不懂英语,言外之意,现在对英语已经略知一二;如句子 If I had been told about this, I wouldn’t he done such a foolish thing 过去不懂英语,言外之意,现在对英语已经略知一二;如句子为虚拟语气,内容与事实相反,说明“原来没有人告诉我这件事,于是我做了一件如此愚蠢的事情”。

6. 非谓语动词的意义:非谓语动词 3.高考文章类型的分析(来源、内容、体裁)非常复杂,阅读理解中,更要小心。如不定式和动词的 -ing 形式都能表结果,而不定式只能表示一种意外的结果;而动词的 -ing 形式表示事物发展的正常的结果。在与谓语动词的关系上,不定式所表示的动作一般发生在谓语动作之后;动词的 -ing 形式表示的动作与谓语动作同时发生或发生在谓语动词的动作之前;而 -ed的形式则表示在谓语动作之前。

(1) 注意形容词与副词同形情况的理解。英语中有些词既可作形容词又可作副词,但在句子中的意义和作用不一样,在阅读理解过程中必须注意。如:close 作形容词时,意思是“亲密的,紧密的”;作副词时,意思是“靠近,接近”。hard 作形容词时,意思是“坚硬的,猛烈的”;作副词时,意思是“努力地,使劲地”。

(2) 注意形容词、副词的级的理解。形容词、副词的级有时并不表示级的意义,在阅读理解中也应留心。如:no more than 意为“仅,只”,相当于 only;not more than 意为“至多” ,相当于 at most;在“a most + adj. / a. + n.”结构中,mos本文以作者的亲身经历为依托,从作者的思维角度阐述问题,那么就可以定调,它是带有一定的倾向性的,倾向于作者本人的观点。所以阅读时要注意作者本身通过语言描述表达的观点和态度。命题也会集中在这些点上。t 意为“非常”,相当于 very 等。

(3) 注意对词尾有无 -ly 的形容词、副词的理解。一般说来,有 -ly 的是副词,但是,lovely, lively, friendly, manly 等都是形容词;有时,不管词尾有无 -ly时,修饰抽象概念,无 -ly 时,修饰具体的概念,如:high 与 highly,deep 与 deeply 等;而 hard 和 hardly都是副词,意思却完全不同,前者表示 hardly“激烈,猛烈;努力”,后者的意思是“几乎不”,相当于 almost not。

8. 介词的理解:英语中介词是由古英语中的动词演变而来,不同的介词跟某个名词搭配,有不同的意思。如 in school 与 at school,前者表示“(在)受教育”,后者意思是“在学校读书,学习”;in the sun 的意思是“在太阳底下,在阳光下”,under the sun 的意思是“天下,世界上;到底;究竟”等。在做阅读理解的过程中可不要搞混了。9. 连接词、词的作用:连接词、词不仅连接句子,也表示前后两句的某种关系。如 but 连接两个句子时,表示后面句子跟前面句子的意思相反;while 连接两个句子时,表示前后两个句子的对比;for 连接两个句子时,表ONT face=宋体>连接句子时,只能放在前一句的后面,补充说明前面句子所发生事情的原因;because 原因状语从句,表示事情发生的原因,句子的位置非常灵活;而 since, as 状语从句,位于句首时,也可表示事情发生的原因等等,考生在英语阅读中都要注意。

9. 句子结构。从一个句子中所含的主谓结构的多少来看,英语中句子分为简单句和复合句;从句子的功能来看,英语句子分为陈述句、疑问句、祈使句和感叹句;从句子的结构来看,英语句子可以分为正常语序句、倒装句、强调句、省略句等。

四、文体及结构知识

高考中的英语阅读短文的文件一般有 4 种,即记叙文、说明文、议论文和应用文。在写法上它们都有各自的写作方法和结构特点。

1. 记叙文:记叙文又分为 3 类:记事文、记人文和景物描写文。记事文。这类文章首先一般要交代一件事情发生的时间(when)、地点(where)、人物(who)、(what),然后再进行分析这件事情发生的原因(why)及发生的过程(how)。因此,对于这类文章,我们只要抓住了这五个“W”和一个“H”就行了。记人文,即人物传记。这类文章一般是采用倒述的'写作方法,即首先用几句话来简单介绍这个人,接着介绍这个人的出生、成长过程,然后再记述他(她)所干的一两件主要的事情或业绩,来反映他(她)的思想、品德和情,是作者对他(她)的评论,从而表达作者对他(她)的感情。景物描写文。一般用来记述在某时、某地所见的事物及心里面的感受。这类文章一般按照时间或空间的顺序来记述,并且有时还夹插作者心里面的想法和感受。它好似我们中文中的散文,从表面上来看,没有中心或主题,只有通读全文后,仔细思考、归纳总结才会找出主题或中心来,从而进一步看清作者的目的、意图及心情。

2. 说明文:说明文通常是用来对事物的情况进行描绘或对某种观点、理论进行解释,从而使人们明白事理或掌握某种方法技巧。在文章中,作者一般是首先提出一个要说明的对象,然后从时间先后、空间顺序、用途、方法、手段、事例或进行的步骤等各方面进行描绘或解释。

我们阅读一篇文章, 首先是要了解其大意, 明确其主旨。因此, 主旨大意题是常考题。主旨大意题包括:主要内容(main idea, mainly about)型、文章标题(title)型、写作目的(pure)型。广东高考近几年来考查过的题目中mainly about只考过4题,title题考了5题, pure题考了5题。

解题技巧

1.弄清文章的大意, 关键是找到主题句。

主题句的位置:主题句通常在文首、文末或首尾呼应, 有时也在文中,或没有主题句,需根据文章所述内容进行归纳。各段的主题句也常在该段的首句或尾句。议论文和说明文一般有主题高考阅读理解四篇的本质区别在于:说明文考察逻辑分析能力,应用文考察数据筛选能力。记叙文考察情感分析能力。句,但记叙文通常没有主题句,需要归纳。

2.找主题句的方法:用浏览法(skimming),即

快速阅读文首、文尾,或每段的首句和尾句等,搜索主题线索和主题信息。找主题句的四个小窍门:

(1)段落中出现表转折的词语(如howr, but, in fact, actually等)时, 该句很可能是主题句。

(2)首段出现疑问句时, 对该问题的回答很可能就是文章主旨。

(3)作者有意识地反复重复的观点,通常是主旨;反复出现的词语,一般为体现文章主旨的。

(4)表示总结或结论的话常有therefore, thus, in short, conclude, conclusion等。

3.关于干扰项和正确。

(1)干扰项可能属文中某个具体事实或细节;可能属文中某些 (不完全的)事实或细节片面推出的错误结论;可能属非文章事实的主观臆断。

(2)正确:是根据文章意思全面理解而归纳概括出来的;但不能太笼统、言过其实或以偏概全。

4.在阅读理解中,主旨大意题常有以下几种命题方式: (1)Main idea型:选择项多为陈述句,要求考生选择表达作者思想或观点的.句子。题干多为如下形式:

首先看本文的体裁,如何界定?、以人称做叙述。第二、涉及到了一定的时间地点人物。第三、通过叙述有一定的说理。从而大约把本文归类为说理性叙述文(侧重说理,从而有论说文的痕迹)。再看题材,主要围绕大学选取专业的一些客观事实来进行叙述的。属于校园生活、学生生活、捎带认知话题,而文章的主体信息又集中在人文学科的特色上,所以整体行文和语言运用又有一定的专业性特点,这也是文章让人感觉稍有难度的原因。本篇被设置在五篇阅读理解题的D篇位置,民间或者约定的说法这是比较难的定位?我不确认。但是同时本套试题中还有另外一篇情节相对简单的记叙文。

看文章段,几个:but ,so,forced,another but。本段在写作信息传递上有些模糊的地方在于,有一个信息点:
